As part of ELECTIVES learning platform users could practice their interpersonal skills with AI powered coaches, honing them to be better at sales, management and difficult HR conversations.

AI Coaches
I used generative AI tools to create mock photographs for a diverse cast of AI personas.
A persona could be expanded with emotional states to reflect the nature of the training conversation.
High Fidelity Sample
The scripts aimed to help users with their daily professional struggles. Tips were provided during a session and a feedback sheet for improvement after.
The learning platform aimed to expand it’s offerings with the AI coaching, supplementing their live classes with innovative AI solutions.
Users could learn about a new skill from a human instructor and benefit from their real life expertise, then practice with their AI partner.
Example of Exploring Variants – Conversation Difficulty Level
A lot of attention was given to planning for future development during the initial stage. I aimed for the UI to be clean and easy to expand with incoming ideas.
Example: Exploring UI options for choosing the level of difficulty before starting a session with an AI coach.
A ‘select’ component would give the benefit of easily adding new levels of difficulty in the future without making the UI more complicated.
A ‘switch’ component makes the level selection easier and faster, especially on mobile.
The iconography could be more refined, or more playful.
I suggested variants to the Product Team with the benefits and constraints each option could bring, assisting a better decision process.
